The slow roasted agave hearts are removed from the oven and placed on a mill where they are shredded and grinded multiple times in order to extract the sweet juices from the plant. Natural spring water is added to increase the flow of the agave juices. Our water is found 750 feet under the earth, in our own distillery. This water is a key ingredient in the making of Siembra Azul because it does not contain elements that compete with the flavors of the agave.
